Many foreigners might have this thinking: "How can I pass my motorcycle licence in Taiwan?"

Well, no worries about that. It is just a very funny joke! After you pass the test, you will understand why the traffic is so bad in Taiwan and why many people cannot drive and are dangerous. However, if you don't want to be against the law, you should pass the test. And even if you don't need it, it is also a way to experience "cultural distance" in Taiwan.

Hello everybody,

I know you are all wondering: "why didn't he write that earlier?" But as we say in French "Mieux vaut tard que jamais".

Well, that's an interesting question... But here I am. I know being a foreigner in Taiwan is not always easy if you want to travel. Where to go, how to go, when to go? That you know... But when it's time to book your ticket or hotels, it is hard to find a website or a travel agency helping you.

What a pity, because in Lion Travel, I have many English speaking colleagues, and their job is to deal with foreigners' inquiries. So i am going to try to give you some information and to help you guys a little bit.

But I wanna make things clear! I will not be able to answer all your questions all the time. But I will give you the directions to follow and who to call for a much better answer. Hope you understand that I can't handle my job plus all the inquiries of the thousands of foreign friends in Taiwan! haha

Anyway, I hope this will help you guys, and reduce the distance between you and the services offered by Taiwanese companies for foreigners.
